Milktart: best is definitely at our local Spar in Rosmead avenue, called "Syd's Milktart". Don't know if they do it at other Spar's? Waterblommetjie bredie I can not recommend (perhaps I've only had it when it tasted like dishwater with cabbage leaves in it), but tamatiebredie is brilliant - I have a recipe if you want it. And I always have Pronutro in the house, so I can sneak you a sample. Uhm, I don't think you'll like it. But I do. ;) It's an acquired taste...

recycled toilet paper is on the up-and-up. the us is the largest market worldwide of toilet paper made from virgin pulp and recycled tp only accounts to less than 2 percent of tp sales.

"<a href="http://www.marcalpaper.com/" rel="nofollow">Marcal</a>, the oldest recycled-paper maker in the country, plans to spend $30 million on what is says will be the first national campaign to advertise a toilet tissue’s environmental friendliness."
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/26/science/earth/26charmin.html

i'll be the first to admit that soft is king and while i probably won't be using recycled tp i make sure i reduce, reuse and recycle in other ways.

Adi-

I didn't smell the flower. Now that I think about it, I should have. Dunno what I was thinking. I guess I might have been afraid to smell it in case there was a bug inside. I'm jumpy around insects.

It could very well be Cape Jasmine. I wonder if it comes in other colors besides white? If it helps, this flower/shrub was found in Pasadena, California. It was just outside Ruby's favorite dog park, <a href="http://www.pasadenapooch.org" rel="nofollow">Alice's Dog Park</a>. Arthur and Chelsey would love the dog park!

Adi-

Haha! That always happens to me. I often forget what I'm about to say. Heck, I'm a forgetful person. Ask my hubby. I'll leave a room with the intention of grabbing something in another room but when I get to the other room, I'll forget what I was supposed to grab! Then I go back to the first room and it starts all over again. *sigh*

Does that ever happen to you?

Adi-

I've seen milk tarts at various shops, but I haven't tried it yet. Who do you think makes the best milk tart? I've had other types of custard-type foods, but I know this is a bit different. I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

As for the other stuff, I don't think I've had tamatiebredie or waterblommetjies. I'll have to give it a try. I've always been curious about Pronutro but the hubby won't let me get it when we do grocery runs. I'll have to convince him somehow..

Thanks for the comments!
