Born and raised in Southern California I got my first taste of life abroad when studying in London. I got the travel bug and never looked back.

I’ve had my share of working for Fortune 500 companies and am now living in South Africa.

I met my husband in the states and did the whole long-distance relationship thing for about a year an a half before making the big decision to leave my family, friends and job for South Africa.

Though we don’t see ourselves here in South Africa forever this blog is an account of my experiences, both sweet and sour, living in South Africa.
